Permit Amendment · $10 per permit

Plans move. Amend, don't refile.

When the trip shifts, we change the permit you already hold rather than filing again from nothing. Less waiting, and less time with a truck stood still.

When to amend instead of refiling

When can a permit be amended instead of refiled?

When the trip has shifted but the permit still fits it — a changed route, new dimensions or weight, a different axle count, or a detail that needs correcting. Whether an amendment is accepted is the state's decision; some changes are large enough that a fresh application is genuinely the faster road.

How much does an amendment cost?

$10 per permit.

What can be changed on a permit?

The approved path when the plan moves, the load itself when dimensions, weight or axle count change, and corrections to details on the permit you already hold.

Why amend rather than file again?

Time. Refiling starts from nothing and leaves a truck standing while it runs. An amendment changes the permit in place, and the haul carries on.
