Oversize and overweight permits, state by state.
At Cran Permits your route is worked out by someone who ran OS and OW freight themselves, in all 48 states. Setting up takes one form: your company, your contacts, your units — then you can order.

Standard Oversize Load
Up to 14 ft wide and 15 ft tall — ordinary filing, with the route read before it goes.
Superload Packages
Past 14 ft wide or 15 ft tall the trip needs planning, a route analysis, and coordination with the states it crosses.
Other Products
A permit that needs changing, or a superload you want costed before you commit to it — both are on the list.

Heavy haul permits, filed the same way every time
We take the paperwork off the driver. Every application is checked, cross-checked and filed, and the three of them fit inside the hour.
Someone is on the desk 7 AM–7 PM CST on weekdays and 9 AM–3 PM CST on Saturday, whichever coast you are calling from.
Order by email, by phone, or in the portal. Pay whichever way suits your office.
We read the permit, mark every exit and stop it names, and hand the driver a Google Maps link with those points already on it.
Every state, summarised
Short notes for each state: when an escort is required, what the speed limit is, whether the load may move after dark. The provisions, without the reading.

Answers before you pick up the phone
What does Cran Permits do?
We apply for and buy the permits that oversize and overweight freight needs, in all 48 continental states — and, either side of that, work out the route before you buy and turn the issued permit into a map your driver can follow.
How is a permit priced?
By the load, not by a flat rate. Our filing fee runs from $15 to $30 per permit depending on the dimensions and weight you are actually moving, and each state's own fee is added per state. The Permit Estimator puts both together before you commit.
Which states are covered?
All 48 continental states, each handled under its own provisions.
When is someone on the desk?
7 AM to 7 PM CST on weekdays and 9 AM to 3 PM CST on Saturday, whichever coast you are calling from.
